Scientific forum to review the results from group A meningococcal conjugate vaccine development
On 10–12 February 2010, MVP staff and partners convened in Pune, India, to attend a meeting on "Vaccine development from bench to licensure toward large-scale introduction – a meningococcal A conjugate vaccine for the African meningitis belt." Organized by Fondation Mérieux and the World Health Organization, the meeting provided an opportunity for all partners in the pharmaceutical and clinical development to share results and experiences while building capacity and expertise among Indian and African investigators.
